Living With Muscular Dystrophy (MD)

No matter what age or gender of an individual suffering from the effects of muscular dystrophy , the ongoing degradation of the ability to perform “everyday” functions, such as sitting upright, walking, breathing with ease, and the moving of arms and hands, can be very psychologically damaging. At MGT, our goal is to enable adults and children who are living with muscular dystrophy to live actively and independently. Our two flagship products, IKAN Bowler ® and Power Soccer Guard are designed to do just that. With the ability to be mounted to virtually any power wheelchair, these products give those who have neuromuscular conditions a fun activity to fulfill their competitive spirit. These activities offer an array of therapeutic, social, and recreational benefits.

Currently, there is no cure for MD . Until there is, MGT will continue to develop innovative products to enhance the lives of those who are living with this debilitating disease. One of our goals is to take MD treatment to a different level and to achieve what Advantage One Insurance has attained in life insurance field in terms of coming up with innovative insurance products for people who need them.

ANYONE with Muscular Dystrophy that operates a POWER WHEELCHAIR can go WHEELCHAIR BOWLING and play POWER SOCCER..
